Drs. Blair and Nina Harff opened The Animal Doctors in 1998. They are both 1988 graduates of the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell. Prior to opening The Animal Doctors they worked in 2 other private practices in Central and Northern NY.

Dr. Stevenson

Dr. Kyle Stevenson is a native of Jefferson County. After obtaining her doctorate degree Prince Edward Island's Atlantic Veterinary College she returned to Watertown and started working at The Animal Doctors in 2007. Her special interests include management of chronic pain in geriatric patients and oncology. Kyle lives in Dexter with her dog Potter.


Julie is our Head Licensed Veterinary Technician and has worked at The Animal Doctors since our opening. She has extensive experience as both a veterinary technician and licensed respiratory therapist. Julie lives in Dexter with her husband, Dalmation Rookie and cats April and Ozzy.

Dr. Young

Dr. Stephanie Young is an Army veteran who recently relocated with her family to Watertown. After careers in business and as an Army language specialist, the ever energetic Dr. Young received her Veterinary degree from Kansas State University. Her special interest are equine health, pain management, and wound healing.


Marissa Hyde is another of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. She graduated from SUNY Delhi and worked at several other veterinary clinics before joining the Animal Doctors staff in 2006. Marissa is a lover of all animals, and owns her own very successful pet sitting business: "Critter Sitters" serving Jefferson County. She shares her home with a dog, 2 cats, 2 birds and several people.


Shannon Trombley, one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, is a 1998 graduate of SUNY Canton. Shannon joined us in 2006 after gaining extensive experience at another veterinary clinic. Shannon is especially interested in anesthesia, pain management, and dentistry. She and her dog, Jack, spend days off reading to elementary school children in a special reading program.


Sandy Radley is the newest member of the team, joining The Animal Doctors in December 2012 as Receptionist. Sandy is a lifelong resident of NNY, has three adult children, two grandchidren, and a black lab Micky.


Dina Rutledge has been with us off and on since 1999. She has been here so long that she knows how to do nearly every job in the clinic! In fact, that is her role here - she helps everywhere from the reception desk, to the exam rooms, surgery, lab, and is also responsible for inventory, ordering and bill paying. She lives in Watertown with her two cats, Bugaboo and Stinkerbell..


Stacey Conlin joined the Animal Doctors as our newest Veterinary Technician in April, 2014. She is a North Contry native and graduate of SUNY Canton. Her most recent postion was at a clinic in Albany. She shares her home with 2 cats and 2 dogs, including her Dorkie Brownie. Welcome Stacey.
